Thoughts about Ecclesiastes 11:5

As you don’t know what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child; even so you don’t know the work of God who does all. Ecc. 11:5

The less we reason and rely on our logical thinking, the more we can experience God’s mighty deeds! Sure, He gave us a brain to think, but He also asks us to trust Him in everything and for everything. If you’d like, please share your most out-of-this-world provision you’ve witnessed.

Let me share one of my experiences. I have a gas cook stove and one of the burners I needed to light up manually. The spark mechanism was broken, and over time I had three! qualified technicians look at it, and they all said it was broken. The part was not available for reordering, so I kept lighting the burner by hand. Several years later, while cooking, I heard the Holy Spirit speak, “Just try it.” I was quite baffled, and after a moment of hesitation, I tried it out because God is God and if He says so, then there is a reason. When I turned the gas knob, it clicked and lit, and I stood in awe. I’m still standing in awe when turning that gas knob today and probably will forever.

The other Scripture that comes to mind is Mark 8:17 Why do you reason that it’s because you have…. Fill in your blank.
