Being in His Timing
That day that I had prayed that God would direct my steps while I was shopping and use me; I was used!
I was on my way to walk into the store from the garden section, my favorite entrance :) It was quiet, no people, just one lady about ready to enter the store; she was humming a hymn.
I was still a ways away from the door, so when I gave her the message it was a loud one. Not sure what came over me, but I pointed my finger at her and kindly said, “And you just keep doing what you are doing!”
The women turned around and looked at me in disbelief, but with great thankfulness. She told me that she had always loved to hum and did so, until people’s comments at work and at home had finally shut her up. She said, “Just this morning I decided to overcome and hum again”.
We both teared up a little bit, because we knew Who had directed this scene! She walked away in fresh encouragement and I felt so blessed to have been used by His mighty hand.
