This phone recording was meant for me only so I would know what I said afterward. Now, I wished the quality would be a little better as I decided to share.
Preparing for this speaker engagement tested my patience. Even though I had gotten those three Scriptures months ago, nothing else happened. I had asked God for an outline almost daily for the last two months, but no word. Down to the last week, I seriously reminded Him that I needed something to work with. He lovingly let me know that all I needed to do was be there and that the rest would be covered. I was at peace, but it sure felt awkward, my first actual speaker engagement, and I walked in unprepared. So, whenever you hear a pause, I silently asked, “What next?”
Before I started my phone recording, I shared a bit about how I came to the United States. It had been exactly 30 years to the day that I met the rancher family, which would change the outcome of the rest of my life. God had directed my every step even though I did not know Him yet. Being a cowgirl at heart and chasing my childhood dream, I had addresses for dude ranches along the way coming from Phoenix. Every one of them was closed to ensure I would end up in the right place, meeting my future - spiritual mother, pastor, and church family at my own personal dude ranch :) It was April 29th, 1993.
His everyday presence is what empowers us to go beyond our limits.
Nothing will make us bolder than knowing that God walks with us everywhere, all the time. Effective witnessing is more a question of living in His presence than being well prepared with literature. The more you get from Him, the more you give of Him - naturally!

God heard our prayers, and we witnessed several exciting touches of God. Glory to His name!
