Blue-and-yellow macaw
The parrot, what a beautiful, colorful creation!
Juvenile Bald Eagle
This juvenile bald eagle just successfully hunted in the field and is bringing it's lunch up to a tree branch to snack on it in the safety of heighth.
Great Blue Heron
The sun was just standing right and lit up the willows as also his beak. This image was taken at the Bosque Del Apache.
Happy Little Bird
I don't know it's name, but I know it lives in the El Paso Zoo. If you know the name please contact me, so I can add the name.
Sandhill Cranes Dancing
At the Bosque Del Apache two sandhill cranes are showing off in a corn field. It is right before sunset and it gives the corn field a slightly golden touch.
Northern Harrier
The northern harrier is an excellent hunter and it is a joy to watch him fly over. Here I was blessed to have him fly by very close and low to the ground.
Barn Owl
The owl, a symbol of wisdom since the ancient days. It must be because the owl is slow to speak and seems to be able to listen well ;)
Roadrunner
This roadrunner lives at the Bosque Del Apache and it's favorite hang-out is the South Loop. It is amazing to me how fast they can run, jump and maneuver, and they have the perfect camouflage for fields and bushes. They blend in so well that good picture taking is a challenge.
Bald Eagle
I was able to watch this beautiful bird at the northern coast of the Washington State Peninsula. The bald eagle is truly a sign for freedom and strength and I like to think about Isaiah 40:31 when seeing this magnificent creation.
